50 year old, father of two boys--one and three years old. Wife and I both have demanding jobs, scheduling challenges. Like your philosophy, emphasis on changing the way I think, emphasis on diet and lifestyle. Quit drinking ten years ago, lost forty pounds two years ago, quit smoking a year ago. Ready for more big changes, ready to start holding myself accountable.THIS IS DAN NOW:
We've made a lot of progress on my goals of being healthier, stronger, and having more energy. I'm excited about what's coming next. Feeling stronger makes me want to feel stronger, if that makes sense. Having you tell me that I'm a fourteen point something body fat percentage makes me want to get it to twelve percent. Spending a week in Hawail with my four-year old, who has turned into a little athlete who prefers to spend about eight hours a day at the pool and the beach, makes me really happy that I can keep up with him and that I'll be able to keep up with him for a long time.
I could write all kinds of stuff. I'm excited about where this is going. I'm grateful for a big shift that's taking place in my whole attitude toward diet, exercise, and myself.
