Struggling With Anxiety And Social Stress

This was an email I got from a new client in her first month of training with us. She told me early on about her issues with anxiety, depression, and especially social situations. She's been a very diligent client, and among my clients who have a similar situation as her, or even my clients who has no issues with anxiety, this client always brought a spirit and energy that few could match. So I thought it was time to introduce her to the rest of the AOE community.

This was the email I got after that session:
"Dear Coach Sam, 
Today was a milestone for me. Not because I lost weight, but because I overcame a fear. Granted, it's still a work in progress, but today I didn't run. I get extremely uncomfortable around people, if it's not obvious. :) When I walked in to work out and saw the girls, I was intimidated…to say the least. I really wanted to make up some excuse so I could leave. Then I remembered what you had told me before about when change happens. I thought of this and it helped me to work through the fear. So, THANK YOU! 
It's encouraging and inspiring to see the girls today and know that I can get there too. I'm looking forward to working my butt off, figuratively and literally!

And just for the record it's been 4 weeks and 11 lbs so far!
